On Saturday we went to the pumpkin patch. It turned out to be a beautiful day to go. But before we left we had to wait for the cable guy to arrive at our house. They gave us an estimate between 8-noon. Of course it was 11:50 when he arrived. So after all that waiting around we went to Culvers for lunch and then to get pumpkins.
Cass got her face painted. She picked an ice cream cone.
Of course being the animal lover that she is she fed goats and rode the pony. If there is a pony ride anywhere you can be sure to find Cassie on it.
She played on the hay bails and after this we went on the train ride. We waited in line for 10 min. We were second in line and there were 2 other families behind us. There are only 3 cars on the train. The train pulled up, people got off and we started towards the train. The 2 family's behind us raced around us to the train. That left us with no room to ride the train. I was ticked. I was sooooooo mad. Really? You just skipped us. Really? You feel its ok to teach your children to do this? I couldn't believe it. Like I said...I was MAD and I did NOT hide my feelings. We didn't say anything directly to the people, which maybe we should have, but I told Cassie very loudly that we could not go on the train because people skipped us. She started crying. Finally one of the guys and his child (who skipped) said they would get off and gave us room. That was fine and dandy it just still blows my mind that people are so rude and they are teaching their children its ok to act like this. We would NEVER allow Cassie to do this. We purposely wait in line and wait for our turn. Its a good thing for kids to know but obviously not every parent thinks there are rules or manners. Anyhooo....
After the train ride we picked out pumpkins. Daddy got the big pumpkin free because he won a game. Cassie has the gords in her bedroom.
Then we headed home.
