Family Trip up North

We have not been up north in 3 years.  Since the challenge of having Twins happened...ha!   We hem and hawed about it.  Would it be fun or would it be a nightmare?  We decided to give it a try.  The kids did great.  The 3 1/2 hour drive was great.   The DVD player is a godsend!!    We went on my parents speedboat, went to a beach, fished, went to a fair and park.  Alex slept in a pack and play, I was most nervous about how he would sleep.   I needn't worry...the first night he slept 12 hours straight.  The next day was 11 hours and the following was straight thru but he did wake at 5:15.   I will take it.   It was a great time.
