Hello!!! 6 months have passed!!

Things are good.   Things have gotten easier!    The crying and whining have subsided!  My sanity is 99% back!   I am loving this!    I rarely go into the bathroom to hide and possibly cry!    That was a hard couple of years.

Updates
Cassie - She is now 7 years old.  We are still homeschooling and love it.  We have chosen a new curriculum called Heart of Dakota.  I have nothing negative to say about it, we love it.   Cassie would be in 1st grade if she were enrolled in the public schools but we are working on 2nd grade curriculum now.   She is learning multiplication, division, reads chapter books.   We will begin teaching cursive within a few weeks.   She is an awesome big sister.

Mandy and Emily - The girls will be 4 in June!   There was a huge turning point at
3 1/2.   Emily my terror, strong willed child has chilled out just a bit.  She is still strong willed and most likely always will be but she is so funny, outgoing, not afraid of anything, she has become a lot of fun instead of giving me headaches.  Mandy is getting better with her whining.   She is still the one who will cry about something almost every day, no matter how small.   Besides that she is funny, so sweet, loves stuffed animals and her and Cassie are best buddies.  In fact  if someone gets bad at someone else their threat is "You are not my best buddy anymore" and the other person will dissolve into tears because they are no longer best buddies.

Alex - he will be 2 in a few weeks!!   He is right in there with the girls.  He outweighs Emily by 2 lbs and Mandy only has 3 lbs on him.   He loves Monsters Inc movies, trains and trucks.  A typical boy, however he isn't afraid to wear a dress, headbands and hold baby dolls.   He starts his fair share of fights.  
Sleeps from 7-5:30.  Once in a while he gets up at 4:30....that is a killer.  He did jump his crib a month ago.  We took out the box spring and put his mattress on the floor inside of the crib.  That is buying us time....thank goodness!!

We are in the process of finishing our basement.  We are framing now and putting in electrical.  So exciting.  It will be so nice to have that area done!!

Matts Mom is getting remarried next month and all 3 of the girls will be flower girls.   That will be fun and I'm crossing my fingers things go smoothly for the twins.
