The girls started escaping from their cribs so the crib transition happened. I was not excited. I dreaded this. BUT I am happy to report it has been easier than I thought it would be. Naps are not the greatest, sometimes I keep them in their room for 1 1/2 hours and all I hear is laughing and jumping...then I give up, bring them down and they usually collapse on the couch in exhaustion. Other times....like today the stars align and they both nap.
Night time is outstanding. Emily used to cry and scream when we put her to bed....now we don't hear a peep which does wonders for my sanity. After a day of whining, crying and fighting when its bedtime that is my saving grace. I need my brain to decompress and I need quiet.
They each have their own beds. I checked on them during naps the other day and found this:
Now that was one of the sweetest things ever. Put a smile on my face.
