2 months Old

Alex is eating 4-5 ounces every 2-4 hours.   He naps ALOT.   He wants to be held a lot during the day and sleeps and sleeps and sleeps.   His longest amount of awake time is early evening and then he is in bed around 7/7:30.  He sleeps till 6:00/6:30 and wakes up twice to eat.  His longest stretch of sleep is 4-6 hours.   When he eats he goes back to sleep right away.  He is a pretty easy baby!   Started smiling right at 6 weeks and is giving me a baby coo here and there.

We work on tummy time and he usually is not a happy camper about it.  But the above photo was taken yesterday.  I laid him down and when I came back this was my 2 month old baby!!   What a strong little guy!!!   I was one proud and impressed Momma.   We weighed him the other day and he came in over 11 lbs.

I am still amazed when I look at all my children. I love them so much!  God has blessed me!!
The other kids are doing great.   The twins, instead of making me want to pull my hair out are making me laugh more and more.  They are becoming true toddlers now and I love seeing their personalities emerge.  Cassie is a huge help and a really great big sister....nothing new with her.

Easter 2014

Easter Sunday was beautiful!   75 degrees!  We spent all day outside, it was so nice.   My parents and Matts mom came over.  We had a nice day being with family, hunting eggs and of course celebrating Jesus!

1 month old.....already!!!

My Baby Boy
I love him soooooo much!   He is so sweet, cuddly and mellow.   When I first found out I was pregnant with him (twins had just turned 1 year old) I was petrified.   The twins had taken every last bit of baby fever I had and thrown it to the curb.  I was done.   NOW....I can not imagine NOT having him.  God knew he was missing from our family and I had no idea.    In fact he makes me want more babies, alas I think my husband is done.

Mr. Alex is a great eater and sleeper.  Everything I prayed for...since my sanity was in question after the twins...ha!   He eats 3-4 ounces every 2-3 hours and goes 3-4 hour stretches at night.   When it comes to night feedings he is fed and goes right back to sleep in his crib.

I am awaiting those first smiles from him soon....can't wait to see it.   I am soaking in my cuddle time with him and kiss his sweet cheeks as often as I can. I forgot to mention  he was born with an Angel Kiss birthmark.....this is a red mark that is on his forehead and between his eyes.   According to what I have read the birthmark will fade away as he gets bigger and I am noticing it already has faded greatly.   When he gets mad or stretches then it flares back up but I am surprised it has faded as much as it has already.

This morning was my first attempt at taking all 4 kids out by myself.   We went to story time.  It was so much work to get out of the house by 9:00.   I put Emily and Alex in the double stroller, held Mandy and Cassie of course walked once we got to the library.   Things went pretty smoothly until Alex started fussing to be held and Emily wanted to be held as well.     By the time we got home 3 out of the 4 were crying for their cups of juice and a bottle and all 3 needed to have diapers changed.   I was sweating after our morning!  At least I know I can get all 4 out by myself and survive!
Heading to Story time!!
