Long and Busy Day

Yesterday we went to Childrens to see Cassies Surgion, he was very happy with her jaw growth. Ever since we have started seeing him he has always taken pics of her profile, he showed us a comparsion of her months and months ago to today...HUGE difference. We have a sleep study scheduled of June 5, if all is good we can have Home Care Medical come and get the huge oxygen tank out of our house! Can't wait for that sucker to be gone. He is going to have the nurse schedule her cleft surgery and they will call us with a date. Its a much rougher surgery for the kids but its only a 1 night stay...I was surprised how short the stay it is. Next we went to the GI clinic to have the nurse look at Cassies G-tube site, its been red and looks pretty raw in one spot. They popped a new tube in for us and gave us some new gauze to put on the area in hopes it will heal better. She is a trooper with all this doctor visits. She weighed in at 17 pounds!! Getting so big.

Next we went to Sarahs kindergarten graduation....Congrats Sarah!!! Cassie loved all the kids, was all smiles. She still has stranger/seperation anxiety but she did very well yesterday. It was a long day, left the house around noon and didn't get home till after 8:30. She was finally asleep by 9:30 - a bit late for her but it was a fun day. Here are some pics from yesterday.

My Birthday

The big 32 today. Matt gave me a some lotion from Bath and Body Works and a Camcorder. I am so excited to use it and record all of Cassies big and little moments. Pictures capture one thing but video will capture more, they are all moments we will never get back so it will be nice to have the ability to look back on them. Great Grandma and Grandpa Silliman also stopped by with some browines and to visit with Cass. She has developed some stranger/seperation anxiety and started crying when they walked in, however Great Grandma was able to eventually hold her. Grandma and Grandpa Rosek also stopped by with some flowers and card - thank you! Tomorrow we head to Childrens Hospital to see her surgion, I am hopeing we get her next surgery scheduled soon so its on the calender and I can start preparing myself. Here are some photos of Cass from today.
